Lunch and Learn: Grizzly Creek Fire Water Quality Monitoring – A Disaster Relief Grant Update

The CASFM Outreach and Training Committee is hosting a Lunch and Learn to be delivered virtually on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The topic is “Grizzly Creek Fire Water Quality Monitoring – A Disaster Relief Grant Update” presented by Paula Stepp, Executive Director of the Middle Colorado Watershed Council (MCWC).
In 2022, the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers sponsored a disaster relief grant in order to support our community members impacted by flooding, wildfires, or other natural disasters. Two grants of $5,000 each were awarded to the top applicants, one of which was to the Middle Colorado Watershed Council for assistance with monitoring water quality in the Colorado River after the 2020 Grizzly Creek fire event.
